We had some family in town this past week and spent the BEST day out on the water with Wake2Wake! ☀️🌊

We headed out to the sandbar, played pong and football, soaked up the sun, and made so many fun memories. Our captain was incredibly knowledgeable and shared tons of interesting facts about the area, which made the trip even better.

If you’re looking for a fun day on the water, we can’t recommend Wake2Wake enough

To our Maryland friends… yes, you can get authentic Maryland-style crabs here that are every bit as good. 🦀 Trust us when we say that! They were perfectly season and truly full of meat

After a beach day, grab a bushel and head back to enjoy a crab feast under the porch. It’s one of our favorite ways to spend a Florida evening at Anastasia Sands (especially when our Maryland loving family comes and visits 😉)

FREE PARKING
Parking in city-owned lots and in on-street spaces is free on July 4, as it is on all federal holidays. Drivers should verify they are parked in a city-owned lot and not a private lot where towing may be enforced.

PARKING GARAGE
The Historic Downtown Parking Facility, located at 1 Cordova Street next to the Visitor Information Center, will charge:

$20 per vehicle, per entry

$3 per vehicle with the ParkStAug St. Johns County resident discount

FREE PARK & RIDE SHUTTLES on Anastasia Island

To help visitors reach downtown, the City of St. Augustine will offer free Park & Ride shuttle service on Anastasia Island, generously donated by Old Town Trolley Tours.

Parking and shuttle service will be available from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at the following locations:

📍Anastasia Baptist Church, 1650 A1A South
📍St. Augustine Amphitheatre, 1340-C A1A South
📍R.B. Hunt Elementary School, 125 Magnolia Drive
📍St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, 999 Anastasia Blvd*
*The Alligator Farm location is parking only. Shuttle riders should walk to R.B. Hunt Elementary School and cross Anastasia Boulevard at the lighted crosswalk.

🚐The shuttle will pick up and drop off passengers at the intersection of Flagler Blvd and Gerado St.

CASTILLO PARKING LOT CLOSED
On July 4, the lot will be closed to all vehicle access. Any vehicles left in the lot overnight from July 3 to July 4 will be towed.

Always something amazing to see at our beaches! 🌊🐢💙

Just last week, our guests (aka our lovely property manager) spotted an entire family of manatees, and yesterday there were sea turtles swimming along the shore. You never know what kind of Florida wildlife you’ll get to experience!
