Sorry for ignoring our fans for so long but it has been a busy 2 weeks. During this time Angie and I have been moving our belongings to another home. We are still in the general area but we have sold Down By The River to New owners. Into everyone's life there are changes and with this opportunity we will be retiring and enjoying family and grand children more.
Darryn and Elizabeth Cray took possession July 1. They have some plans that we believe our guests will enjoy. We have spent a lot of time with them and believe that they will be taking DBTR to the next level. It is an exciting time for them and also for us. We will also be working with them for the rest of the year to bring them up to speed and to keep the hiccups small.
We hope that you will continue following Down By The River and in the future will come back to the b and b to see what they have to show you after September 1.
There are many parts of the country and world that we have seen with pictures from our Facebook fans. We want to see them too. We will miss all our past guests that have become our friends but we may show up at your door one day and ask you to join us for lunch or dinner.

Long day working outside and so when dinner came around we did what everyone in AZ does for cooking. We barbequed so that we didn't heat up the kitchen. We had grilled Ahi with a sugar rub, cole slaw and rice with broccoli. To top it off we had to have some Arizona Wine. Airdus provided the Petit Verdot and it paired perfectly. Nice way to end the day.
