All right everyone...sadly, I am having to rethink the entire project. The cost to renovate this hotel is just too high. And because of this, the numbers just don't make sense. This was not what I anticipated but it is what it is!

But I refuse to give up!

I have another plan but it involves scraping and rebuilding. I've already designed the concept but need to have a few conversations to see if it's possible.

Hey everyone! UPDATE on The Elm Project!

I am patiently waiting for the final bid for the complete demo/restoration of The Elm! Once I receive it, all financial statements, renderings, business plan and bid will be submitted (hopefully) for approval so we can get this decorative ball rolling!!!

I am SO excited to get this project started but even more excited to provide a classic, upscale space for guests to enjoy while visiting St. Francis! I plan to make it unforgettable!! Thank you for your continued patience and support!!!

Apparently, we had a very poorly Hawaiian-dressed, disgruntled customer force his way into the hotel, claiming he booked a reservation. He was caught defecating in the upstairs toilet and trying to phone customer service on the disconnected phone in the basement.

If you see this man, he answers to the name, ”Larry Schield”. He is also my awesome uncle so please let him know we do not plan to open until next year.

I apologize for any confusion this may have caused our wonderful community. 😂😂😂
