Lake Minocqua is marked for snowmobiles. Oneida county opens this Friday (2/7).

Watch out going under the Hwy 51 bridge as the west side has deep ruts and frozen slush. The South Bay of Minocqua is NOT marked as there is open water and slush near the trail head.

Hi Sayner sled heads, allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Northern Highland Coffee Company your morning stop for a quick breakfast sandwich, burrito or pastry and a HOT coffee before you hit the trails for the day this weekend!! If you arrive too early for our neighbors the Sayner Pub we’re right across the street. With snow in the forecast Saturday and Sunday we hope to see you!

This weekend 1/31 - 2/2 hours;
Friday & Saturday 7am - 2pm
Sunday 9am - 12pm

It was beautiful to once again see snow falling in Wisconsin yesterday!!! Even if it only totaled a few inches. Lake effect areas received the highest totals. The White Thunder Riders reported close to “a foot” in the Hurley Area, upgrading Iron County trails to “Good”. Vilas County is reported as “Fair”, receiving a few new inches, more as you travel northwest. Any accumulation will certainly help to improve Vilas County trails, plus any open trail riding opportunities in counties to the northwest.

Wisconsin’s roller coaster temperatures continue into next week with another warm up. Hopefully, these temps in our current riding areas don’t rise to high! Hoping these temperature changes set off chances for snowfall!

Get yourself to these open areas! Patronize these awesome businesses who depend on us to thrive and survive. Get some riding in! Enjoy yourself!!!
