"This was a last-minute rental, but what an amazing, unexpected, find! The outside of the house is well maintained, but it's very understated, it absolutely doesn't prepare for what's inside. The moment we walked through the door, we were blown away! The house is SO much bigger than it looks from the outside...no comparison to other, often cramped, 4 bedrooms properties we've previously rented on the island. The open floor plan makes it feel super spacious and the large windows in the great room and kitchen give great views of Fripp Island's gorgeous natural environment. We also loved the back porch, where we felt surrounded by nature. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, +for kids to play, while we still enjoyed being connected. The kitchen had everything and more to prepare and enjoy homemade meals together. The four bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, were exceptionally comfortable and private, we were amazed finding a home where no bedrooms share a wall with another bedroom OR with the main living areas of the home! It's location is another big plus. It was so convenient to everything we love to do at Fripp...super quick to the beach and to our other favorite island spaces and Resort amenities!
Definitely learned this is a place that shouldn't be judged like a book by its cover! The interior is amazing and super clean, we quickly realized we'd discovered one of Fripp's best-kept secrets and bargains. Also owner Melissa was super great to deal with. We can't wait to stay here again!"
