June 7th - 13th is up for grabs ☀️

August is super open, which in my opinion is the BEST time to be on the island. The crowds are lower, the turtle hatchlings are moving and the island pace is just right ☀️.

Rare opening on Harbor Island 🌊☀️…We are a 5 ⭐️ Super Host

We just had a cancellation, which means we now have availability from May 31 through June 13 at our beach house. That is 2 weeks that can be split up!!! We do prefer a 7 night stay during the summer months, but we are willing to work with you.

Early June on Harbor is honestly one of our favorite times of year. Warm weather, quieter beaches, bike rides, morning coffee on the porch, and long sunset evenings before the peak summer rush hits.

Any past or new clients are more than welcome to book directly with us!

AirBNB is enforcing a new policy effective December 1st that we absorb an additional 15.5%.

What does this look like to the client: that you are paying NO additional fees which makes the platform look enticing. Meaning if the rental is $475 a night, that is all you pay plus taxes.

What does this look like for the host: if we keep our current rates we will lose an additional 15.5% each booking payout. This forces us to actually raise our rates by 18.34% (to cover the fees charged which now include taking additional fees out of cleaning fee, cart rental fee, etc. Those used to be the excluded). Which puts our listing $70-$85 more a night. And this will take us out of the “search” results when clients are looking within a budget range.

For us, a base summer night is $475(with the exception of holidays)…with the new policy in place it will be $562.

The name of the game: AirBNB makes themselves look good no matter what. The client is still paying the fee in the end and the hosts are losing the algorithms 🤦‍♀️.

After a few seasons of listing through the big rental sites, we’ve learned one major thing:

“No one will care for your experience like the person who lovingly curated a space for you to relax and unwind in their home.”

These platforms have made it harder for homeowners to protect their properties and their guests. They also a lot of unecessary fees!!

We’re shifting to a more direct, thoughtful, and personalized approach.
