Just up the street from the hotel is the historic property Faust Wines. You may have seen their wines on the list at your local restaurant - but when you taste at the winery the single vineyard wines are the real treat. Housed jn a historic Victorian perched on a hill, it’s a place we enjoy sending our guests. Some say, if you’re wandering the property you might even be visited by an old spirit or two…all part of the fun of Napa Valley. Every corner has a story, every winery has something unique. Enjoy your time here…there’s truly nothing else like it.

The grand table in our lobby was hand made and the perfect place to start your weekend. Come on in, enjoy the AC and visit with friends over a glass of wine. Still have some work to do? Come in and set up with your laptop, enjoy a coffee or tea and finish the day. If you’re traveling but not quite totally on vacation - use it for your remote work station…it serves many people and purposes…We hope to see you soon.

The wall outside the Wydown isn’t just a mural. It’s a love letter to St. Helena.

Painted by Northern California artist Bryan Valenzuela, Heritage rises up the side of the hotel with a massive oak tree at its center — a symbol of strength, endurance, and the deep roots of Napa Valley itself. Look closely and you’ll notice the branches and shadows are made from handwritten words and layered stories, woven together like the history of this valley.

We love that it feels timeless. A little poetic. Something that stops people in their tracks while they’re walking down Main Street. Art should make a place feel alive, and this one does exactly that.

Happy Memorial Day. It was a big weekend here in the valley with BottleRock. But we’d be remiss if we didn’t pause a moment to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country and freedom. All of us are connected to someone who served…today we thank them, and honor them.

The best corners of Napa Valley aren’t always found in a vineyard. Sometimes they’re merely across the street tucked inside a bespoke tailor shop with books of fabric stacked high. Need to work on your short game? He’s got a putting mat ready to go and a whiskey quietly poured while measurements are taken.

Today we spent time with Mickey at Modicum Bespoke, talking craftsmanship, fit, and the disappearing art of making things by hand. His custom garments have found their way onto Post Malone and other notable names, though the spirit of the place feels far removed from celebrity culture — more old-world atelier than fashion flex. Family-built, deeply personal, and obsessed with detail in all the right ways.

We have a feeling a few custom pieces are in our future. There’s something timeless about supporting people who still believe quality should be felt, not advertised.
