There are not enough nice words and thoughts to respond to all my wonderful and special campers that have been so caring and thoughtful for my daughter and her family of four children and her additional bonus son during the Hurricane Ian crisis. 13 days with no electricity, losing 1/3 of her home to the storm surge that was over about 8 feet, all the interior walls, f rooms of furniture and a kitchen and bathroom...nothing left there but studs, their 5 cars...but they are safe and unharmed, and working hard to clear out the mess. She found time to help her neighbors, feed a gentleman who lost his entire home, and even had a chicken arrive at her door...Of course, Paige took in 'Chuck.' I think she is the Patron Saint of all Lost Animals. She wanted me to be sure and let my campers know she is touched by your generosity, as there are so many names she doesn't know that have responded to her needs. She is a mile from the Sanibel Causeway, which collapsed and virtually destroyed. It was scary for them, but they held on through the worst of the eye and the eye wall and pretty much held on to each other. Thank you soundvso small, but you all have a place in our hearts.
needs. Our hearts are full of love for all of you.
