Fire update for the cabin!

No Burn Permits are being issued by IDL, the city of Harrison, or the St. Maries Fire Protection District. HOWEVER, recreational campfires in an established fire pit, no larger than 2' x 2', are allowed.

We strongly recommend having water and a shovel nearby, and ensuring the fire is out and the ashes are cold before leaving the area of your campfire.

The area is dry and fire dangers are high. The creek at the cabin is already dry. We want to remind everyone that fireworks are not allowed at the St Joe River Cabin! Thank you for your understanding, let’s keep Idahos forrest safe!!!!
