Welcome to Fort Hemenway Manor—St. Maries’ newly restored historic inn. Fort Hemenway Manor was built in 1910 as the private residence of lumber baron Fred Hemenway. The Manor features beveled glass windows, custom-designed English chandeliers, oak floors detailed with inlaid walnut, beamed ceilings, and a fireplace framed with Italian tiles and fir trim.

A short drive from Spokane, Washington, and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, St. Maries is the heart of your Idaho adventure. Whether fly fishing or whitewater rafting on the storied St. Joe River, digging for rare star garnets, bicycling the Hiawatha Trail or golfing one of the beautiful regional courses, the only limitation is your imagination.
