Long before whiskey defined American spirits, rum was at the center of trade, naval life, and everyday colonial living. Paired with LYON RUM tastings and stories of Maryland’s Revolutionary War heroes, this is history told exactly where it happened, on the water.

Step into the stories that shaped St. Michaels with Moments in Time, a guided historical experience offered Tuesdays throughout June and July. ⚓️

Guests will journey through the town’s rich past, exploring colonial life, Frederick Douglass’ legacy, local shipbuilding traditions, and the events of the War of 1812, including the famous night St. Michaels outsmarted the British.

The experience concludes with lunch on Samuel Hambleton’s waterfront terrace overlooking the Miles River and historic battlefield.
