The 2026 Minneapolis Rest Diamond Destinations have officially been released — and we are honored to share them with our community.

Earning the distinguished Citywide Spotlight Diamond is the breathtaking The New Victorian Mansion Bed & Breakfast in St. Paul’s historic Cathedral Hill. This commanding 1881 Queen Anne Victorian mansion was built for prominent local family Frank P. and Anna Shepard. After decades as a private residence, it underwent a meticulous 2013 restoration as an American Society of Interior Designers Showcase Home, preserving every turret, gable, fireplace, and intricate wood detail. Today, owners Mohamed and Chum continue that legacy with genuine passion and care, creating a warm, refined sanctuary for discerning adults.

From the grand parlors and sunlit balconies to the elegant suites that blend historic opulence with modern comfort, every stay feels like stepping into a peaceful, pampered chapter of Minnesota’s Gilded Age.

We don't use paper towels. We avoid plastic utensils. We use an ozone generator to reduce detergent use and wash laundry without hot water.

My newest change? Switching to bamboo toilet paper.

We can't keep cutting down millions of trees for something we use once and throw away. If we want a better planet for our children, it starts with the choices we make today. 🌱♻️
