Sanders, the independent senator from Vermont who caucuses with Senate Democrats, was joined by one Republican, Kentuckian Rand Paul, in his fight to open a debate on the oversight issues. Nine Democrats also supported the effort: Laphonza Butler of California, Martin Heinrich of New Mexico, Mazie Hirano of Hawaii, Ben Ray Lujan of New Mexico, Ed Markey of Massachusetts, Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Peter Welch of Vermont.

Those “yes” votes form a “profile in courage” honor roll of senators who have decried the brutal October 7 attack by Hamas on Gaza but who also recognize that Israel can and should be held to account for its disproportionate response to that attack.

"I would like to see any terrorist, Hamas, or person who believes Israel has no right to exist or the Jews have no right to it, I would like Israel destroy those people," he states.

"Then I wold like to see some type of new world that comes about in Gaza where Jews can go back to the Middle East," he says. "Where we can go back to synagogues, where our great-grandparents were and we can pray together."

He adds: "I would like to see the destruction of evil."

Matisyahu admits he does not have the answer on how peace can come to Israel and Gaza, but the Grammy-nominated singer hopes it happens soon.

Sounds like a undereducated narrow minded rapper, how about we stop killing a lot of Palestinians and let them worship in the place where their grandparents lived on the land your israeli friends stole from them.

Matisyahu, who shot to fame performing as an Orthodox Jewish rapper, shared his thoughts on his new EP and the Israel-Hamas war with Newsweek.

Last guest review that stayed in unit 302

My husband and I wanted to pass along our feelings on unit 302. We absolutely loved it and our stay! Best deal on the beach. Also, y'all couldn't have been nicer and more helpful when we had a problem with the TV in the front room. The view from our huge balcony was breathtaking. Absolutely the best deal on the beach.



We will return :)
