Late post from last Saturdays Monte Carlo Casino night at the Treasure Island City Hall hosted by Pinellas Beaches Chamber! What an absolutely fabulous event!!

It was my first year attending and I could not be more pleased with the support from our communities. The silent auction raised over $5000, the raffle raised over $1000 and I have no idea what the tickets and casino games brought in. Everyone looked beautiful, happy and the views could not get much better.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Saint Petersburg -Madeira Beach is grateful to be part of such a supportive and resilient community.

A sincere thank you to Chris Steinocher, President & CEO of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, and the entire Chamber team for hosting an exceptionally well-organized and informative 2026 St. Petersburg Meet the Candidates held at The Trop.

The event provided an outstanding opportunity for voters, business leaders, and community stakeholders to engage directly with the candidates seeking to lead our city. I appreciated the chance to have several one-on-one conversations about each candidate’s platform, priorities, and vision for St. Petersburg’s future.

I was especially impressed with Zachariah Wade, running for County Court Judge, whose passion for public service and commitment to our community came through during our conversation. I recorded a brief interview, which I’ll be sharing on my personal page, where he discusses why he’s running, his background, and the experiences that have inspired him to seek public office.

From the excellent venue and hospitality to the seamless candidate rotations and event flow, every detail contributed to a meaningful and engaging experience for attendees.

I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the Chamber’s straw poll and watching the 2026 municipal election continue to unfold. Events like this foster informed voters, meaningful civic engagement, and stronger community leadership.

What a fantastic celebration! Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber on another outstanding ribbon-cutting event celebrating the newly reimagined Sirata St. Pete Beach Resort, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.

It was wonderful to see St. Pete Beach Mayor Scott Tate and so many community leaders in attendance, representing our beautiful city with pride and professionalism. The food was exceptional, the Gulf views were breathtaking, and the $25 million renovations are absolutely stunning. The new Rum Runners restaurant, with its expansive roll-up doors that fully embrace the beachfront views, is a spectacular addition and creates an incredible indoor-outdoor experience.

Originally established in 1962, the Sirata has been welcoming guests to St. Pete Beach for more than 64 years. Following its extensive transformation, the resort now features 228 beautifully renovated guest rooms as part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton while preserving the charm and history that have made it a local favorite for generations.
