After a decade of memories, Liberty Lodge will close the doors this Saturday, December 21st, 2019

Team Liberty Lodge appreciates all the smiles & happy tears shared with us weekly during Military Graduations. The Contractors who serviced the community in some form, returning each week. The Truckers who made sure everything we come to buy on a shelf was delivered and they looked forward to a comfy bed for sleep. To the Travelers of I-44 & Historic Rt66, the history of the hotel was always exciting to learn.

The staff, Team Liberty Lodge, will miss you all. We will move on to new opportunities with our sister hotels directly following the closing. We hope to see you again by staying at one of the Five other Fort Wood Hotels by Ehrhardt Properties.

We wish you Safe Travels and a Happy Holiday Season.

We recently collected and digitized a series of letters written by a civilian, Beth Slingerland, as she watched the attack on Pearl Harbor from her home in the hills above the harbor. While she wrote, she wasn't sure if her husband had survived or not.
