We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend and longtime part of the Captain’s Bluff family, Jimmy.

Jimmy was the kind of person who made everything better—steady, kind, and always willing to lend a hand. Over the years, he became an irreplaceable part of life here at Captain’s Bluff. Whether it was a wedding day hiccup or just a project around the property, Jimmy was always there with a smile, ready to save the day.

His love for this place was clear, and his presence brought a sense of calm and comfort to everyone who crossed his path. For those of us lucky enough to work alongside him, Jimmy was not just a friend, but family.

Our hearts and prayers are with his beloved wife Tammy and their family during this heartbreaking time. His legacy will forever be part of Captain’s Bluff.

**Important Update: Venue Closure Due to Hurricane Hellene Aftermath**

To all our wonderful clients and friends,

Due to the devastating impact of Hurricane Hellene, our venue and vacation destination remain closed as we continue to navigate the aftermath. If you have a scheduled venue tour or reservation, please reach out to Lauren at 912-223-0436 to reschedule. If you've reached out and haven’t heard back yet, we deeply appreciate your patience.

We are currently without power and have temporarily relocated our families while we wait for roads to be cleared and power restored. We are beyond grateful for the hard work of the linemen and first responders who are working tirelessly to bring our community back to normal. We are also incredibly thankful for our amazing neighbors who have come together to clear trees and help one another during this time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this storm. We will keep you updated and look forward to welcoming you back soon.
