We had the sweetest couple celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary with us. They were married at Charleville last year in June and wanted to come back where it all started, so our little place was the perfect location! They were great guests, I hope we get to celebrate every year with them!

We have had some really great guests. Here is a recent review of a sweet couple celebrating their anniversary with us:

"My husband and I wanted to explore the Ste. Genevieve area over our anniversary weekend and we found this sweet little secluded property for our weekend stay. It was so serene and peaceful. We hiked the nearby trails in Hawn State Park, went to the nearby Charleville Brewery and Winery, and toured the historic homes of downtown Ste. Gen. The property is beautiful if you are looking for a quiet, private place and check in and check out was easy. Everything you needed was provided (Wifi, TV, soaps, towels, bedding, extra blankets, board games, snacks, coffee, water bottles, full size refrigerator and kitchen if you decide to cook) with some extra items to purchase (premium snacks, breakfast freezer items, ice cream, firewood). The property owner was super sweet and even provided us a small anniversary cake and some prosecco to celebrate. We would stay here again. Very clean and new. Thank you, for making our stay so enjoyable."

We have an opening this weekend if anyone is headed to this concert. We are only 20 minutes away!

THIS weekend is our 48th Annual Farmington Country Days.

The festival will feature free concerts all weekend long, a parade, food vendors, carnival, historic Long House tours, and all-out family fun! This year's theme is Our American Story, a nod to the nation's America 250 Celebration and the local history that runs so deeply through the festival.

Headliner Kelsey Hart will take the Downtown Country Days Stage on Saturday, June 6 from 9-11 pm. With 277 million global career streams, he is making an impact starting with his debut radio single “Life With You” which has garnered 130 million global streams, debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Country Digital Songs Chart, and reached #1 on the Hot 30 Weekend Countdown on SiriusXM The Highway.

Sometimes we just can't help ourselves.....excited to start another remodeling project. Why not try and remodel an early 1900's cabin? I am sure everything will be perfectly square!
