Hi local friends! We are looking for someone to join our team starting this spring. Pay is hourly based on experience and hours can range between 10-20 hours per week based on the season (closer to 10 from fall to spring and 20 in June-August)

Responsibilities include -

1) Tending to our animals and keeping the barns/coop cleaned (we have goats, chickens, pigs and cats); and

2) Managing the upkeep of our farmhouse backyard, which gets used by our guests (cleaning the pool, whirlpool bath, fire pit, grill and weeding our garden bed)

Timing shifts in each season, with more flexibility in the spring and fall, but specific days/timeframes in July and August.

This person should be -

- Reliable and responsible, as this role has a lot of independence
- Friendly, personable and good with animals and people (guests may engage with you, ask questions etc)
- Detail oriented - we maintain a 5-star rating so need to ensure our team is keeping everything in tip top shape

Experience with animals and being handy with basic tools/fixing things is ideal.

If you are interested or know someone who is, please send an email to Sarah at [email protected]. Feel free to share!

2025 marks 10 years of hosting friends and families from far and wide at our farm. 10 years - it's wild to think about. Where does the time go? We opened our doors in 2015 in an effort to keep our beloved property in the family. Despite the enormous amount of hard work, sweat and sometimes tears that were endured by many, we are so proud of what we've built!

When guests have stayed at our farm, we hope they've enjoyed the many pleasures it has to offer. The spacious rooms of our 18th century farmhouse, with games galore, a pool table and an old record player. The glorious swimming pool and hot tub, just outside. Our fully decked out Glamping Site nestled among the pine trees. Our beloved gaggle of goats and friendly barn cats who are happy to be visited by children and adults alike. Fresh eggs to be collected and enjoyed. Perhaps you walked the trails of our 150+ acres of rolling hills and expansive fields--magical in all seasons.

Off our property, we know they've taken a stroll to our historic town of Salem, NY, which boasts a delicious bakery and coffee shop - On A Limb - and a few new restaurants. They've seen a show at the Fort Salem Theater, eaten ice cream at Battenkill Creamery, hiked the sculpture park at Salem Art Works, and visited the marketplace and cafe at GardenWorks.

It's been an honor to be the backdrop of so many special moments. These photos represent just some of the many memories created.

Our stays for spring and summer are filling up. We hope to make this the best year yet! Please check out the link below to see more of what our farm has to offer and book your stay.

Calling all direct marketing farmers, bakers and makers!

We are excited to host a farmers' market this season on Thursdays 4-6:30, May 16 - Oct. 23. It will be housed under our open-air pavilion with our indoor event space as backup for inclement weather. We are seeking all food types and open to the idea of a couple crafts. We believe in supporting local businesses, and while we can only carry so many items in the store, this will allow us to share even more local products with our loyal customers and the 1000s of commuters who pass us daily. If interested in being a vendor, please PM us here or email Eliza at [email protected]. Deadline to apply is March 15th.

Spread the word! Tag your favorite local farmer! And add it to your calendar!
