Tommorrow the campground office, store, maintenance, and cleaning departments will be closed for the day for the first time in 42 years so that we all may attend services for Ron Sr. Thank you all for your acts of kindness, feeding us, and taking care of us for the past week. Ronnie, Paxton and I truly appreciate all you have done. We realize many of you feel some of our same pain but put us first. Rob sending every nurse on the 16th floor a tapa plate from Barcelona Restaurant when he was in Mass General made Ron feel so special, Red.............your sacrifice of letting us be in Vermont knowing you stayed behind to keep things smooth was very special, Alex and Kevin you are fine young men, true friends for all you have done. Donna and the girls in the office thank you for keeping the office running so smoothly. Your cards, flowers and fruit basket were greatly appreciated. The calling hours are 4 - 7 at Duksa Funeral Home in Newington. The memorial service will begin at 7pm.

Good morning. The campground will officially open on Saturday, April 30th at 10:00 am. Those who have handed in their seasonal checkin sheets and paid in full may check in on Saturday, the 30th. April 3rd will be the last trailer delivery day before we open. No exceptions. All other deliveries must be on or after April 30th, so we can get open and give you this extra day. The entire staff is looking forward to giving you more wonderful memories during the 2022 camping season.

Looking forward to an OPEN HOUSE on Sunday. 10 - 2:00. We have many RV, Beach Items at 1/2 price as we change things around in the store...........getting ready for 2022. New clothing has also arrived. Long sleeve T's, 1/2 Zip Sweatshirts and pretty new colors in hoodies. We believe you will be able to drive to your site.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that one of our camping families has lost their loved one. Jack of all trades, Wayne Goodwin lost a 17 year old battle with Multiple Myeloma on February 11th. We will miss his cheery disposition and his infectious smile. Donna..........The Witch Meadow community is here to support you with anything you may need in the days to come. The wake for Wayne is this Wednesday, 4-7, at the West Haven Funeral Home, 662 Savin Avenue, West Haven CT

Unfortunately we are going to have to cancel the open house, the front parking lot did not melt today and I just tried to drive into the camp and did not even get to the laundryroom. It is worse than the parking lot. It would be unsafe to walk around at all. I am sorry, we just got too much rain that froze later in the day.
