Our Story

The Stables Inn & Suites (formerly the Motor Inn) has been remodeled and reopened under new local ownership. The first floor of 21 guest rooms is now available, as well as the beautiful common areas such as the comfortable lobby featuring reclaimed barn wood and the enclosed atrium with skylights. All guests can enjoy a breakfast of fresh pastries every morning. Free WiFi is available and the business center provides a place where guests can utilize a large screened computer, print their boarding passes and other materials, or surf the web. The convenience of having a restaurant/lounge (Boneshakers) and banquet facilities (The Grand Ballroom) under one roof is what makes this hotel the one-stop-shop for travelers that want it all in one place.

We are located in the historical district of Salem, Ohio. Local shops, restaurants, and theaters are just a block or two away and within walking distance. The quaint streets are lined with old fashioned lampposts which are seasonally decorated for the holidays with lights and pine. Public parking is free and available throughout the neighborhood.
