The Rose of Jericho, also called the resurrection plant or dinosaur plant. It's native to the Chihuahuan Desert of the southwestern U.S. and Mexico. When it gets extremely dry, it curls itself into a tight brown ball and can look completely dead. Give it water, and its stems gradually unfurl and become green again.
