Start with a tasting at the historic cellars at Brotherhood Winery in Washingtonville. Five minutes later, you can be back in the Vineyard Room beside your own fireplace. 🍷

This upstairs Carriage House room still carries its early-1800s character through original beams and stonework. You’ll also have a king bed and a large double-headed shower waiting for you after your wine-country afternoon.

Trade the crowded weekend for waterfalls, lake views, and breathing room. 🌲

Minnewaska State Park Preserve is one of our favorite outdoor day trips for couples. You’ll find waterfalls, sky lakes, carriage roads, cliffs, and wide-open views.

Spring and fall are especially good times to go. The air is cooler. The trails are kinder. The views do most of the talking.

In winter, many guests swap longer hikes for fireplace time here. Some also try a glass workshop at Hudson Beach Glass.

America’s 250th summer deserves more than a quick getaway. Stay where freedom has a local address. 🇺🇸 Our Freedom Road room sits inside the restored 1800s Carriage House. It’s named after the nearby Freedom Road Trail.

General Washington’s army used the trail near the Revolutionary War’s end. Nearly two centuries later, the 52 American hostages traveled this same route. They traveled from Stewart Airport to West Point after their release from Iran.
