Here’s your general 2026 peak color timeline:

🍁 Late September | 5,000+ ft
Mount Mitchell, Grandfather Mountain & Beech Mountain

🍂 Early October | 4,000–5,000 ft
Craggy Gardens, Graveyard Fields, Waterrock K**b & Black Balsam

🌄 Mid-October | 3,000–4,000 ft
Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Highlands & Cashiers
