Sunrise Over Salvo

Hello, everybody! It's been awhile since we've posted, but I'm happy to report that John and I are still here, not only surviving but also thriving, and will be celebrating five years at our beloved Sunrise Over Salvo in a few months.

Except for the first four months of the pandemic, we have remained open to all, and have welcomed guests from all over the world and most of North America. We instituted new cleaning routines and removed those heavy bedspreads from our beds, replacing them with cotton blankets that we wash between every guest. Our pool and hot tub remain clean and open.

About 2-3 months ago, Airbnb changed its search algorithm, and since then, we've noticed a drop off in our bookings, as have many of our fellow SuperHosts. We're more or less booked for June and July, but we are almost completely open for August, and we would love to see YOU! Take a look at your calendar, then click on over to Airbnb and make a reservation. You'll be glad you did!

So guests Hailey, Cody, Jada, & Alex went down to FROGGY DOG for lunch in Avon today... when they returned Hailey found a hitchhiker on her driver's side mirror... Hmmmm, a little green froggy... from Froggy Dog! Coincidence! :-O

Good afternoon from beautiful Hatteras Island! We've had some amazingly pleasant days here to start off the new year, and folks have begun booking stays in June and July already.
