Finally at the beach house. It’s been booked solid since mid-May. But I’m so happy that we get to share this amazing place with others! Rained today but the sunset is spectacular. This view is from our kitchen window, over the sink. Looks like the folks across the street are enjoying the splendor as well!!

Happy Fourth of July!! We hope everyone is celebrating and staying cool today!!
Nothing warms my heart more than hearing from our guests about how much they loved staying in Everybody Wants Sun. Just heard from a family who checked out this morning who loved their stay. They sent an adorable family pic at the beach as well!! Love it!!! As a privately owned and managed home, we take pride in doing our best to give our guests a wonderful vacation spot. Check out our awesome reviews on ABNB and VRBO! We are just about fully booked through September (a few 3 days stays are left here and there) but October is open and if you can visit, October is one of my favorite times in the OBX.

Great article from National Geographic praising the Outer Banks and especially the shoulder season. We don't have anything open for the rest of May but from August 15th onward we have lots of availability. September and October are my favorite months to be at Everybody Wants Sun. The best part, costs are much less than the high season! Just be sure to buy trip insurance, it's a low price (usually a hundred dollars or so) for peace of mind just in case of a hurricane.

I’m here at Everybody Wants Sun this weekend because we have a big surprise coming tomorrow!! Right now, I’m enjoying my old fashioned evening cocktail on the deck and keeping my eyes peeled for whales! Several have been spotted just off shore over the past few days!
