One of the first projects we ever worked on! When my wife and I arrived at our first duty station in Georgia, we discovered the real estate market was significantly more affordable than in New York. We quickly purchased our first investment property, which sparked a series of investment purchases.

Lesson learned on this deal: never pay a contractor before the work is done! (Rookie mistake 🙃)
