Dear friends of The Historic St. Charles Inn, it is with much prayerful thoughts and soul searching that Ted and I have closed the Bed and Breakfast! We have been blessed by God and the community of San Antonio for the last 21 years! I can't imagine our life having not had this incredible experience(ride)! Thank you to all who have shared your most special and sometimes sad events with us! Praying with us and for us! We love each and everyone of you! We enjoyed The Ride and now we are on to the next journey God has planned for us! With all our love and gratitude! Ted and Ann Stephens

Spending the entire summer with my father in law has been a joy and an adventure! It has been a blessing to work side by side with him in the garden and to spend Friday nights in Canton at pickin in the Park! Listening to good folk music watching groups of cloggers and shareing a dance or two with PaPa! Listened to a lot of story telling! Some I have never heard, it's amazing how the mind works when it wants to hold on! Thank you to all the workers at Lowes and Jelley Bellies who always welcome and greet Dad and his devoted dog and companion Roxie, "The Counting Dog"! There's no other place I could have wanted to be, than here in peaceful Maggie Valley NC, with him! Thank you to our town of San Antonio for keeping a look out for The St. Charles Inn! A special Thank You to Frank and Bonnie Hill and Lisa Stemo!! These are our Angel Friends who kept my garden watered mowed paper picked up because I forgot to cancel! Takeing care of Ted and my kitty Sweat Pea! But my heart is full due to our son Hunter and his girlfriend Kathleen, who stepped up to the plate and took charge many unforeseen events! I love my family and missed my husband Ted, like crazy! He is on his way up to MV to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary! Can't wait to see him hug and kiss him❤️❤️❤️. Looking forward to coming home and looking forward to all our guests of The St. Charles Inn! See you in September🍁🍂🌻
