🎉 Celebrating 35 Years of Good Shepherd Ministries International!

For 35 years, Good Shepherd Ministries International (GSMI) has been committed to equipping the Church and reaching the nations with the Gospel.

In 1991, Dr. Berin and Lisa Gilfillan founded GSMI and stepped onto the mission field, where they established video Bible schools and serving students all over the world. That vision would eventually grow into the International School of Ministry (ISOM).

Today, that vision continues around the world through ISOM—serving more than 20,000 schools in 150 countries and providing training in more than 85 languages.

What began with a vision to make quality biblical training accessible to people everywhere has become a global ministry of discipleship, leadership development, and church-based training.

35 years of faithfulness.
35 years of equipping.
35 years of reaching the nations.

We give all glory to God for what He has done—and we look forward with faith to all He will continue to do!

Happy 35th Anniversary, GSMI! 🎉🌎

⚔️ SPEARHEAD MONTH HAS BEGUN ⚔️

What if your giving could help carry truth into places where hope feels impossible?

Today, we begin Spearhead Month—a month dedicated to helping spearhead the truth of the Gospel into some of the most difficult and unreached places of the world.

There are believers who need to be equipped.
There are refugees who need hope.
There are persecuted communities who need access to biblical teaching.
There are people who may never walk into a church—but can receive the Gospel through technology and through people God has positioned in these regions.

We have the message. We have the technology. We have the people. We need partners who will help us go.

Your gift to the Spearhead Fund helps us:

⚔️ Support Bible teaching in persecuted nations
🌍 Reach refugees and the disenfranchised with the Gospel
💾 Deliver biblical truth through technology into closed regions
🔥 Equip and disciple a generation for Christ

This month, we’re asking you to stand with us on the front lines.

You may never travel to these places yourself—but your generosity can go where you cannot.

Spearhead truth. Transform lives. Change eternities.

Will you take your place in the mission?

Honoring the Lives and Ministries of Marilyn Hickey and Dick Eastman

Two beloved members of the ISOM instructor family who helped equip students around the world.

ISOM is deeply grateful for the lives and ministries of Dr. Marilyn Hickey and Dr. Dick Eastman, two beloved members of our instructor family who recently went home to be with the Lord.

While many knew them through their worldwide ministries, ISOM students have also been blessed by their teaching through our curriculum. We want to pause to honor their legacy and thank God for the fruit of their faithful service.

Their ministries were distinct, but both carried a deep conviction that God’s Word, prayer, and the gospel of Jesus Christ must reach the nations. Their teaching continues to serve ISOM students around the world, and we are grateful that their voices remain part of the training entrusted to this ministry.

Please join us in praying for their families, loved ones, and ministry teams as they continue carrying forward the work entrusted to them.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)

2025 has been a remarkable year full of blessings and accomplishments. Our partnering ministries continue to grow stronger, our impact is reaching more people across the nations, our school is bringing in more students and graduates and we even have the pleasure of producing a new short film called The Story of Lucy (visit Isom.org/lucy to find out more). None of this would be possible without your support and donations and above all the many churches and individuals dedicated to praying for ISOM and our entire team. So we share a genuine thank you with you all and for your support.

For details on 2025 accomplishments and projects, please visit our website ISOM.org and subscribe to our newsletter for more updates.

As we move into 2026, Lisa and I want to let you know that God is clearly leading us to focus on Israel and specifically Jerusalem. At our conference in February 2025, God spoke prophetically to us publicly through Prophet Riaan DeLange from South Africa. The Lord told us that He was giving us a headquarters in Jerusalem and that ISOM would become a key tool that God would use in preparing His end-time Bride. Lisa and I believe this direction is from God and are setting our hearts on God’s purposes for Israel. We plan to facilitate at least two trips in 2026 to the Holy Land. The goal, as always, is to love, bless, and strengthen God’s people in that strategic nation. ISOM is already available in Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, and Amharic, making it accessible to many of the major language communities within Israel. We believe this focus for 2026 is of God and invite you to stand with us and help us with prayers and finances as we close out 2025

⭐️Year-End Matching Challenge ⭐️
As we finish 2025, a generous partner has committed to match all year-end giving, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. This is a wonderful opportunity for your gift to have double the impact. We invite you to prayerfully consider participating in this matching challenge as we close out the year. Please also please remember to pray for us.
