In the 1870s, The Cosmopolitan Hotel was once again the social center of town—but this time for galas, raffles and weddings! The building itself was the perfect representation of Old Town in that time period, a mix of Mexican-style adobe and American woodframe buildings. Some would consider it the hotel’s heyday, and it was certainly the place to be with Albert and Emily Seeley sparing no expense for guests.
