On Saturday, December 20, 2025 the members of S.W. Hackett Lodge #574 completed their Partnership in Education "Holiday Delivery" for the 6 families identified by the Sequoia Elem. staff as being in need during this holiday season. The Brethren, Ladies, families, and friends came together to purchase presents for every child in the six homes -wrap and address them to the kids. Members of the Lodge also purchased everything needed for six full holiday meals including a turkey, all the fixins' along with milk, juice, cranberry sauce etc. A wonderful experience for the Brothers and their families to come together to bring some light and joy into people's lives. The experience of delivering the bounty to the families is also a very beautiful experience.

/ Manly P Hall /
"Every soul is engaged in a great work - the labor of personal liberation from the state of ignorance. The world is a great prison; its bars are the Unknown. And each is a prisoner until, at last, he earns the right to tear these bars from their moldering sockets,
and pass, illuminated and inspired into the darkness, which becomes lighted by that presence."
"Manly Palmer Hall was a Canadian author, lecturer, astrologer and mystic. Over his 70 year career, he gave thousands of lectures, including two at Carnegie Hall, and published over 150 volumes, although is most known for his 1928 work, The Secret Teachings of All Ages. In 1934, he founded The Philosophical Research Society in Los Angeles, which he dedicated to Truth Seekers of All Time, with a research library, lecture hall and publishing house."

Not sure but bet he was a brother.

In 1945, Sheriff Warren Hyde of Utah chased down a Japanese balloon bomb that then took him on a wild ride. He grabbed hold and rode the balloon for almost an hour as it dragged him through barbed wire and reached heights of 30 ft before he was able to tie it down.
