The SDSU Shakespeare Club

The SDSU Shakespeare Club THE SHAKESPEARE CLUB Over the blazing Summer (2012), these students met discussed the purpose and mission of the club.

This club is one who's name is self-explanatory however, here is a blurb about who we are and how this gathering of the minds came to be...

President, Sonia Nelson, gathered students she knew possessed the passion and drive required to develop a community of art lovers. Their conclusion was simple, to spread knowledge of art in its various forms. Do not be mislead by the club's name, the scope is

not limited to only works by Shakespeare. The events available:
-Open Readings of Shakespeare's Plays. (Everyone is welcome to come as an audience member or as a volunteer!)
-Acting Workshops
-Guest Speakers
-Attendance of plays throughout San Diego County
-Pub Nights!
-Renaissance Fairs
-Tutoring
-Tailgate at SDSU Football games
-End of the year Shakespeare production. (With open auditions)

As you can see the events planned are not limited to a library or classroom setting! Get your nerd on with us!

**ALL students, alumni, and community members are welcome!**
