If you love high quality bread and pastries, you must check out Mi Pan Bakery!
Their Artisan Sourdough Bread is the best we have found on this side of the Atlantic. It comes with a nice crust and the fluffy softness inside that we know from European breads. Even better: it tastes wonderfully and lasts much longer than any other bread we have bought here (keep in the paper bag and stand it on the cut side).
We also love to try their pastries. Offerings vary to keep things interesting, but we have always been impressed. Better ingredients and taste with less sugar.
You can find Mi Pan Bakery at Farmers Markets in Little Italy every Saturday, Chula Vista every Sunday and Pacific Beach every second Tuesday.
