Before and After! We converted the laundry room at the back of the apartment into a home office. Instead of the 1990s washer and dryer that was there before, we now have a new washer and dryer set, located just outside the back door.

Here is our current set of dishes. The light green set of bowls and plates was from IKEA. We’ve had them for some years and some of them are getting chipped / scratched. That is why we are getting a whole new set ... Cost including the additional dessert plate is about $150. Hope the new tenants enjoy these.

New plates for the apartment kitchen! Noritake stoneware, microwave and oven safe, dishwasher safe, color wave apple 🍏 color. So far we have only received the tiny dessert or appetizer plates. But we ordered a whole set with large plates, salad plates, mugs and cereal bowls. Due to arrive in about a week!

I found the color swatches from when we painted the guest apartment. Glidden “Antique Silver” and “Arctic Stone” for the main walls, “French Grey” for the kitchen backsplash and the hallway, and I can’t recall if it was Mid-Day Mocha, Café Latte, or Clay Bisque for the laundry room and top portion of the hallway.

Here's something new! We swapped out the queen size platform bed and end tables for a Murphy bed with hutches for storage. It was quite an ordeal putting this together, but we did it! It’s from BredaBeds.com. 2nd picture shows the previous bed. Snapped these pics real quick and then cropped them from panoramic shots ... so that’s why the walls look wavy, ha ha!

This was the Queen size bed we had before.
