From the Scottish Highlands to the hills of Hokkaido — NIKKA WHISKY was born from a journey. Founder Masataka Taketsuru, known as the “Father of Japanese Whisky,” studied traditional Scotch distillation in Scotland before returning to Japan to build something all his own. The result? A whisky legacy that’s stood the test of time since 1934.

Founded in San Francisco’s Mission District, Beyond The Pale Barbershop is known for precision cuts, a community-driven atmosphere, and a personalized experience unlike any other.
