Cable Cars Return in August!
We are so excited to announce that the cable cars will start service again in August and rides will be free all month long! August service will be unofficial with no published schedule, though service is planned to run from 7 a.m. until about 10 p.m. The Powell-Hyde line will return first connecting Union Square to Fisherman’s Wharf, with the Powell-Mason and California lines following shortly thereafter. Fares will be in effect starting in September. We can’t wait to hear the bells chiming again, Ding Ding!
