DESIGN NOTES ✷ This handcrafted sconce was created by Los Angeles-based artist and designer Tom Greene in the 1960s.

Greene was known for creating sculptural brass fixtures using a distinctive torch-cutting technique that produced irregular edges, rough textures, and organic forms—hallmarks of the raw, rugged aesthetic of the mid-century Brutalist movement.

Over the decades, these sconces traveled from California to New Jersey, then to Mexico City, where we discovered and fell in love with them. We knew instantly where they belonged.

More than sixty years later, Greene's work still feels strikingly modern, and perfectly at home at Granada.
