Up the coast just past (about a 40 minute scenic drive from the property) there is a . We find it astounding that with billions of people in the world, we had the place to ourselves for a couple hours.

We visited the San Simeon Pier mid week and had the beach to ourselves! Only 10 minutes from the Cottage and Suite, you’ll also find where you can Grab a snack and a glass with a view of the pier. You can also opt to grab your own picnic basket and head to the picnic area at the state beach.
