Today at the “Festival at Sandpoint”, the Spokane Symphony Orchestra. There was a chance of rain but it did not rain. A beautiful, as always, last night concert by the Spokane Symphony Orchestra.

Yesterday at the “Festival at Sandpoint”, before the “Storm” came. It was cloudy but not threatening, much. The sky darkened and darkened. Then pea sized hail followed by lightning thunder and buckets of rain. Those on the field headed towards the covered bleachers for safety but we’re headed off by staff who informed us the concert grounds were being “evacuated”, Lighting strikes hitting around the grounds. Concert goers abandoned picnic baskets, chairs, coolers, all that they brought on the field an left. What a mess!
