Got a chance to converse with Heather the owner whose passion trickles down to her hosts Chad and Jill and Chef Jimmy who prepared the best meal I've had in a long, LONG time."

Peaceful Retreat
My husband and I stayed at the Talus Rock Retreat recently. It seemed a bit off the beaten path and when we pulled into the Retreat, it was paradise. Beautiful grounds and building and a peaceful environment. Very aptly called a Retreat. We were greeted by one of the proprietors, Chad. He greeted us like old friends, showed us around and gave us a perfect restaurant recommendation. During our visit, we visited the hot tub and sat outside in the evenings to enjoy the serenity. There were massage services available (the room was lovely), a sauna and a dipping pool which sadly, we did not have time for. On our way out, we met the other proprietor, Jill (Chad's wife) and their adorable dog. She was delightful as well. We chatted for a bit, she recommended a restaurant at our next location. It was a perfect stay!
