Nearly 1,200 pounds of cans. $625 for families in need. All because of YOU!

Wow, what a wonderful 2026 season at Two Creeks!

As we work on closing down the 2026 campground season, we'll be sharing more memories and highlights from Freak Fest in the coming days.

But first, let's give credit where credit is due — to YOU!

Our wonderful campers and residents stepped up and collected nearly 1,200 pounds of aluminum cans!

Thanks to your efforts, Luann and Mike were able to recycle those cans and turn them into $625! That money will be combined with other donations and given to a food shelf serving the Sandstone area.

Just think about that for a moment. Something as simple as saving aluminum cans will help put food on the table for local families who could use a little extra help.

Now, that's what we call neighbors helping neighbors!

That's kindness. That's community. That's the Two Creeks spirit!

To everyone who saved a can, filled a bag, or helped along the way, and especially to Luan and Mike, thank you!

You folks really are the Best of the Best!

NOW YOU KNOW... WITNESSING SOMEONE'S INTIMACY DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO SHARE IT.

There is a profound difference between being trusted to witness something intimate and being authorized to tell others about it.

Intimacy can unfold between two people or in the presence of others, but witnesses still owe discretion, respect, and trust. Being present does not automatically give you permission to tell someone else's story.

We talk about consent in physical intimacy, but the same principle should apply to sharing intimate information: Consent to be seen is not consent to be discussed.

Naming people or turning their private experiences into entertainment, gossip, or conversation can expose them to embarrassment, judgment, unwanted attention, or harm without their consent. A private group is still an audience; sharing something with ten people instead of a thousand does not make the betrayal less real.

Privacy isn't about shame or hiding who we are or what we enjoy. It's about allowing people the dignity of deciding who gets to know the intimate details of their lives.

Trust takes time to build, seconds to damage, and sometimes a lifetime to restore. Perhaps the greatest demonstration of respect isn't what we're willing to share about others, but what we're willing to keep to ourselves.

Here's a question worth thinking about: If someone trusts you enough to be vulnerable in your presence, shouldn't they also be able to trust you with their privacy?

WOWSA! FREAK FEST IS SHAPING UP TO BE ONE HECK OF A PARTY!

150 to 170 revelers? Temperatures in the 80s? In OCTOBER?

You read that right! Our Freak Fest: Night of the Living Campers, October 9 - 11, is shaping up to be a FABULOUS grand finale to the 2026 camping season at Two Creeks!

With an incredible response from our weekend visitors and residents, we're anticipating 150 to 170 fun-loving revelers! While we can't guarantee attendance, one thing is certain: THE EXCITEMENT IS BUILDING!

And Mother Nature apparently wants to party with us! Saturday's forecast is calling for unusually warm weather, with temperatures expected to reach the 80s!

HAVEN'T REGISTERED YET? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

What a wonderful night celebrating the people who help make Two Creeks Campground more than a campground - they make it a community and a home.

We want to say a huge THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to all of our 2026 Resident Award winners!

These awards recognize kindness, friendship, laughter, community spirit, creativity, great neighbors, memorable moments, and the people who make Two Creeks such a special place.

**SATURDAY SCHEDULE.- October 3**

🧺 **4:45 PM — Charcuterie Drop-Off**
Please bring your charcuterie trays to the **south door of the Club**. Amber and Joel will meet you there to collect your trays and arrange everything on the charcuterie table.

🚨 **Please note: Entrance into the Club and seating will NOT be available before 5:30 PM.**
The 4:45 PM time is for **charcuterie drop-off only** so we have time to get everything arranged and ready for the social.

🥂 **5:30 PM — Charcuterie Social Hour**
Doors open! Come in, find your seat, mingle, snack, socialize, and enjoy all the amazing creations everyone brought.
