Fall is upon us. The gardens will slowly go to sleep, and innkeepers Scott & Wendy will relish in the fresh cooler temps (and exercise!) as we bring in plants, take down awnings, and prep the porch for winter.

We love getting to know our guests (or not, if they prefer). Everyone has that "thing" they do can do exceptionally well. Our recent guest, Mary Mascazine, shared with us her gift of marbeling paper. We were completely fascinated as she described the process! You can follow Mary at Marbled Bits if you would like to see her process, along with what she is making with her marbled papers.

We are so delighted that Katherine came to play during the Garden Tour! Hearing the beautiful sounds of the harp, the birds, the fountain.....makes the garden feel so enchanting. Thank you Katherine, for sharing your talents with us!

We are looking forward to sharing what Innkeeper/Gardener Scott Schell has been working on, in the gardens at the 1890 Queen Anne Bed & Breakfast! The Old House Guild of Sandusky is hosting their annual Garden Tour, and we are one of the several gardens on the tour.

We had the great pleasure of hearing Carrie Newcomer & Gary Walters rehearse before their concert ..... in our Living Room! Thank you First Presbyterian Church - Sandusky, Ohio for bringing them back for yet another beautiful concert!

Rehearsing this afternoon before our show at 1890 Queen Anne’s B&B in Sandusky OH. A glorious place to hang on a rainy afternoon…love our hosts Scott and Wendy!

It was "scone" day in the Wendy Kromer Confections studio (at the B&B). Can't go wrong with Chocolate-Orange. Wendy had a dozen or so fresh kumquats left from her tree, so those were added as well.
