Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our short-term rental portfolio. You will be the primary point of contact for guests, cleaning staff, and direct booking inquiries. The ideal candidate is highly responsive, professional, and comfortable managing multiple communication channels while helping convert inquiries into bookings. Job is primarily in eastern standard time, but we need round the clock assistance for different inquiries coming in. 
Key Responsibilities
• Guest Communications Management
• Respond to all guest messages, inquiries, and requests on short-term rental platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc.) in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Handle check-in/check-out coordination, special requests, issue resolution, and post-stay follow-ups.
• Maintain high response rates and excellent guest satisfaction scores (aim for Superhost/5-star standards).
• Cleaning Staff Recruitment & Management
• Recruit, screen, and onboard reliable cleaning staff.
• Manage ongoing communication with cleaners via WhatsApp (scheduling, confirmations, quality checks, issue resolution, and payments coordination).
• Maintain an active roster of cleaners and ensure properties are turned over promptly between guests.
• Phone & Text Communication
• Monitor and respond to incoming texts and calls via Google Voice.
• Provide quick and professional responses to guest and vendor inquiries.
• Sales Support & Direct Bookings
• Handle incoming inquiries for direct bookings (email, text, phone).
• Provide property information, answer questions, overcome objections, and close direct bookings when possible.
• Follow up with leads to maximize direct booking revenue.
Requirements & Skills
• Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably in short-term rentals, hospitality, property management, or customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (clear, polite, and persuasive).
• Strong familiarity with Airbnb, VRBO, and other rental platforms (messaging systems, calendars, reviews, etc.).
• Proficient in WhatsApp business/ group management and Google Voice.
• Comfortable with basic sales conversations and upselling direct bookings.
• Highly organized, responsive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (peak guest communication times).
• Bonus: Experience with property management tools (Guesty, Hostaway, Lodgify, etc.), Canva, Google Workspace, or basic CRM tools.
