They’re unveiling this beautiful restored mural on the WopsHops Brewing Company building today Wednesday at 530pm. Details from the Sanford Historic Trust below —

We are so excited to unveil the updated and preserved Stokes Fish Market mural! The 70+ year old legendary mural has been sealed and restored in this project. It took over a year of funding to preserve this amazing piece of art.

We invite you to have a look in person as well as talk to Suzanne Chagnon, the daughter of the late artist, Marcel Faille, about the journey of this project. The artists, Stephen Boros and Nancy Blauers, will also be on hand to field questions. Food and drink are available for purchase from Wops Hops Brewing Company, too. The official ribbon cutting will take place at 5:30PM.

This is an outdoor event and CDC mask guidelines for a restaurant will be in place. Hope to see you there!
