Exciting News for Sanford!

Construction is underway on the Pilgrim’s Sanford Agricultural Marketplace, opening spring 2026. This new downtown hub will feature:

• A covered farmers market pavilion
• Commercial and demo kitchens
• Classrooms and community space
• Programs like cooking classes, workshops, and nutrition education

It will serve as an anchor for the new Sanford Central Green, bringing more life and opportunities to our community.

The Pilgrim's Sanford Agricultural Marketplace will serve as a community epicenter to address food insecurity and improve community infrastructure.

☕ Stop in at Family Grounds Coffee while you’re in Sanford!

If you’re staying with us at, this is one of our favorite local recommendations. Definitely worth popping in during your visit. 💛

This coffee shop was featured on the downtown spotlight tour, celebrated as a true community gathering place and a taste of local flavor. Such a cozy spot to grab a latte and slow down for a bit. Friendly faces, great coffee, and plenty of space to relax.

🍻 Downtown Sanford is the place to be this week! Hugger Mugger Brewing Company has an awesome lineup! Food trucks, Trivia, Kids’ dance party, Sweet treats, and of course, Amazing craft beer. 🍻

Got some cool stuff for you this week Sanford - literally! Tonight we host Doy Doy Grill - their menu is on our stories right now. We have My Depiction Addiction here with their monthly Craft & Crafts event. They may be sold out for this one but check out our stories for what's coming up Sept 22nd!

Tuesday it's Tuesday Night Trivia with Zach - we also have Lobster Dogs Food Truck- Raleigh who are much loved by our staff that know them. Personally I like that they have a vegetarian option, I think it's smart and delicious.

Wednesday we host Fry Fusion NC who had a banger of a first night with us. They're local and the reviews came back really positive about the menu. Give them a shot on hump day!

Thursday it's comfort food on steroids with MoonRunners Food Truck. Catfish or meatloaf on a stick are fan favorites. We'll also be picking up our farm to table boxes from C.V. Pilson Farm. These boxes are a great value, they're packed with locally sourced fresh fruits and veggies. Unlike grocery stores the pricing on the boxes remains the same all season long. You can sign up at any time and skip weeks when you're unable to pick up, it's wonderfully convenient.

Friday we have a special treat - Sanders Southern Seafood is here for fish Friday and we have an ice cream option as well. Taps Creamery will be here to provide a dessert option. Good time to start thinking about how a beer float can improve your life.

Saturday we have one of our most beloved events - our Kids Dance Party with DJ Peluso kicks off at 2pm. Expect a light show, professional sound system, popcorn and lemonade inside & The Chill Zone Ice Cream and Coffee and Phat Philly outside. The dance portion of things is a free event & is geared to kids typically under 10 years old. We create a dance floor by the back bar and let those tikes tire themselves out. You'll see, it's good fun.

We also have our pollinator census that afternoon in the beer garden, that's a great thing for kids to be part of as well.

We close out our week with Johnnythaifood - hopefully he brings back some of his mango sticky rice for you to try, it looked amazing.
