Here are a few tips to help during freezing weather, especially if you are new to RV life.

1. If you have an exposed water filter it will freeze! If your water filter is not insulated, remove it or add insulation to protect it from freezing and the possibility of breaking.

2. Run your furnace... it will help keep the underbelly of your RV warm.

3. Keep water in your freshwater tank. If your hose/spigot/filter freezes you will still have water.

4. Do not drip water and leave your grey tank open. This will freeze in your drain hose, back up and may flood your RV.

5. Buy a heated water hose they help tremendously. Make sure you’re getting power to them. Water hoses should be heated or at minimum have a heat strip with insulation wrapped around the hose. Water spigot should be insulated also.

6. If you have grey/black tank heaters, turn them on.

7. Report any broken hoses and/or water pipes to your park manager immediately! If you see your neighbor is having a problem, help them out or let the park manager know.

8. Stock up on food and drinking water during freezing temperatures.

9. Check all your outside water connections, hoses, and filters and make sure they are not leaking! If water IS leaking, tighten your connections to stop the leak. If it looks as if the faucet is leaking contact your park manager.

10. Be careful stepping out on your steps! Ice on metal is treacherous!

Wagon Master would like to introduce our four new male alpacas! Katana is our true black alpaca, next we have Rusty dark reddish brown, Scotland is dark fawn and last is "E', short for Ethos, he is very unique and has a white face and dark rose grey body. We are very excited to add their beautiful color to the herd.

This is a new park north of Denton, Texas. The park is very clean and well kept. Nice room between campsites. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
