🌴🐢 Today, one of Pointe Santo's smallest visitors needed a little helping hand. 🐢🌴

A newly hatched sea turtle became disoriented and started heading away from the Gulf instead of toward it. Thankfully, Mark was nearby, recognized what was happening, and helped guide the tiny hatchling safely back toward the water, giving it another chance to begin its incredible journey.

Sea turtle hatchlings naturally make their way to the brightest horizon, which is usually the moonlight reflecting off the Gulf. Artificial lights or other distractions can sometimes cause them to head in the wrong direction, making them vulnerable to dehydration, predators, and exhaustion.

We're proud of Mark for taking the time to help protect one of Sanibel's most treasured wildlife species.

Looks like everyone wants to be at Pointe Santo... and we're not just talking about our owners and guests!

We are excited to share that there are now 12 sea turtle nests on the beach in front of Pointe Santo. Our stretch of shoreline has become a favorite spot for nesting sea turtles this season, and we couldn't be happier.

If you're out enjoying the beach, please help protect these incredible mothers and their future hatchlings by giving the nests plenty of space, filling in holes, flattening sandcastles, and turning off beachfront lights at night. Remember: After 9, it's turtle time.

Nature has chosen Pointe Santo, and we couldn't be more honored.

🦋 Pointe Santo Legacy Walk Update 🦋

We’re excited to share that we’ve already sold 30 personalized pavers and 54 replica coasters for the Pointe Santo Legacy Walk project!

We’ll be sending our first batch of pavers to be engraved early next week. If you’d like your paver to be included in this first group to be installed, please place your order by Monday, July 27th.

Once submitted, the engraving and shipping process is expected to take approximately 6–8 weeks, so we anticipate the first pavers will be installed sometime in late October, early November.

If you’ve been thinking about adding your family name, commemorating a special memory, honoring someone, or simply becoming part of Pointe Santo’s Legacy Walk, now is a great time to order.
