Our inter-tribal POW-WOW has featured drummers from US and Canada, a variety of foods and beautiful hand-made native crafts. Although Pow-wows weren't traditionally part of the Chumash culture we wanted to provide the community with both an educational and cultural experience that focuses on Native American music, arts and customs. Additional Information about Live Oak Camp
• Live Oak offers open dry camping, no defined sites and no electrical hook-ups.
• Camp fees are $25, tent or RV camping
• Fresh water and a large dump station are located at Cachuma Lake, 5.2 miles northwest of Live Oak Camp.
• Also at Cachuma Lake: a small general store, a gas station, a coin laundry and propane.
