Today is a momentous day in our local history, celebrating the 150 year anniversary of the Golden Spike at Lang Station, right across the river from us.

Many thanks to the Santa Clarita Historical Society Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society and especially Carol Rock, who was instrumental in making arrangements for this occasion, pictured here presenting Shea Uva with an authentic spike from the 1976 Centennial celebration.
