We're not crying, you're crying.

No but really we wanted to give a shout to Syd! She has been an amazing member of our hostel family, baking breads, planning events and First Fridays, greeting all of our lovely guests, and spreading fun and good vibes!

She's moving on with an epic road trip planned down South and going where the wind takes her for a bit! We are sad but excited for her and her next chapter. If you've interacted with Syd comment and give her a shout. We will miss you Syd!

What an awesome event!

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate at this year’s Beach Hill Bash!

We ate, drank, laughed, bid on some pretty great auction baskets, tried our luck at the raffle, and celebrated the community that makes the Santa Cruz Hostel so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, helped put the event together, and showed up to support.

Because of you, we can keep creating opportunities for people to experience the coast through affordable lodging, cultural exchange, and community.

We’re already looking forward to the next one. 🌊

For our new followers! A little perspective on where you’ll find us 📍🌊

Santa Cruz Hostel is tucked into Beach Hill, just a few blocks from the beach, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, and downtown.

Walk to the beach, grab a coffee, explore the Boardwalk, then come back and hang out on the porch. Not a bad home base for a Santa Cruz adventure ☀️
