Locally owned and woman-owned inn located near the beautiful Santa Cruz Coast. The Seaway Inn is an affordable and comfortable choice for a weekend away, a family vacation, and so much more. The Seaway Inn has 18 beautiful rooms that can accommodate groups of all sizes and all of our rooms are dog friendly! We are just a minutes’ walk away from a wide variety of different attractions such as the Beach Boardwalk, the Wharf, and the Kaiser Permanente Arena! We are also located just minutes from the scenic, 3-mile-long walking/biking path West Cliff Drive! Every room at the Seaway Inn is equipped with a mini fridge and microwave that are ideal for keeping snacks and drinks on hand for an extended stay with us. A quick and easy breakfast is available daily in our lobby, consisting of muffins, coffee, and more.

It’s that time of the year where Roaring Camp Railroads is hosting their 3-week Thomas the Train event in October, featuring a REAL TRAIN SIZED Thomas the Train engine that you can ride in!

The Rides open Saturdays and Sundays 10:30 AM - 2:30PM. The current dates open are the 10th and 11th, 17th and 18th, and 24th and 25th of October.

Purchase your tickets quickly on the Roaring Camp Website. If you are a guest at the Seaway Inn, ask for the Promo code to save $2 per ticket.

This Friday to Saturday October 9-10, the Santa Cruz boardwalk is hosting the 2026 Fall Scout Overnight even where scouts can camp outside on the boardwalk under the stars. The event also includes Exclusive Free Play in the arcade, dinner & breakfast, outdoor movies, exclusive time on the Looff Carousel and Pirate Ship Friday night, and more!

This Sunday September 20th, Roaring Camp Railroads are hosting their Redwood Car shows featuring a classic, muscle cars, hot rods trucks, and more from 1975 and older. The show will be hosted in Felton, CA located above Santa Cruz in the redwoods. Enjoy Roaring Camp’s western themed town, have a snack, and purchase a ride on the steam train and the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk train.
